Engineering student here- I did the aleks exam and got a 45 (didn’t even place into Math 1A) bc I studied the wrong material, I studied derivatives, chain rule, Riemann sum, long division, etc. And none of it was on the exam. It was mostly log and factoring, and multiplying variables etc. Hardly any trig.
The student sees a confirmation message with her ALEKS login name. A welcome email will be sent to the student with the student’s ALEKS login name and password. See the Email section for an example.
