Seems like the only way to do what they intend is to force you to only use archer thralls so that they could support you but not single handedly kill everything. Fighters and Archers are trickier, the are not all born equal. Exiles are weakest, then come desert factions and lemurias. Then you have Heirs of the North, Cimmerians from Lost Tribe and strongest are Votaries of Skelos from Volcano. For example T3 Nordheimer will do same damage as legendary from Black Galleon but have even more health.

The relic hunters are not bad archers because they normally have high agility. And if you get the bows with power darw, they do strength damage, so Freya and Diana are both good and easy to get thralls for that. Only found one strength bow so far. I'll try the relic hunters. Thank you.

Additional plating doesn't add enough damage reduction to armor to be worth the increased weight, but on thralls armor weight is irrelevant. Craft utility items such as sandstorm masks or bearer packs using a Scoutwright, and add an armor reduction kit, so that you can always carry one of each with you and they weigh much less.
