its debatable, Elite targetting has the sniper target strong until bloons get to far in the track, then they target first, this can be helpful in some situations, and can be put to good use in challenges. I feel it synergizes well with Elite Defender, at the very least.

Oh sweet that's pretty good.it's good when paired with downdraft on some maps when you don't have room to micro, and downdraft is a top tier support tower. pursuit i do agree is a bit underrated here since it's good enough on most non advanced maps, but it's pretty bad at making use of razor rotors and sometimes has trouble keeping up with faster bloons or gets funky when it has to travel longer distances. Middle path doesn't really have a niche, it's just better than bottom path. A 0-5-2 with an alch buff does insane damage; it's even better than elite defender in chimps, and it can't even give you the cash drop there. We need a setting called “Co-Smart” that allows Spike Factories to place spikes at the most back of the track as possible, unlike “Smart” which simply places spikes as front to the track as possible while still actively targeting the bloons at the front. By the way, Smart targeting is still kind of handy for anti-stall with Spike Factory.
However, as soon as I get 050 all my sniper monkeys are going to 'elite priority. My suggestion is to change 'Flanking Manuvers' to say 'when set to last or elite targeting' as a way to make it feel better with snipers and to indirectly buff the 050 sniper monkey. Thats actually super useful, Ill have to try it in a real game. It's strong until bloons are near the exit then it switches to first. You get elite targeting for all your snipers, not just the elite sniper. You have to manually set your sniper to elite though, it's not like pursuit or centered path where it automatically switches when you buy it.
